Buchinger fasting and hiking complement each other perfectly and help rid the body of accumulated toxins. The beautiful landscape surrounding our hotel provides the ideal setting for an intense physical and spiritual experience.
This fasting program is conducted in a group of like-minded individuals. Under the guidance of a naturopath and thanks to the sense of community within the group, you’ll be empowered to push beyond your limits during these days and feel great through the Buchinger fast, moving toward better health and well-being. The program concludes with a communal breaking of the fast on Friday morning.

Health advice and clothing
Good to know: Please inform your teacher or take a break during individual lessons if you have any health restrictions. Singing bowl classes are not suitable for people with hearing aids or pacemakers.
All yoga sessions can be attended by advanced yogis as well as athletic beginners.
Depending on the structure of the class, some of the aerial yoga sessions involve inverted postures. To protect yourself and the cloth: Please refrain from wearing jewelry, clothing with zippers or sleeveless tank tops during aerial yoga.
Please be prepared for the classes to vary and for it to be warmer (more dynamic class) or cooler (yin yoga/final relaxation) depending on the type of class. We recommend wearing clothing according to the onion principle. You are welcome to bring a vest/sweater that you can put on and take off comfortably over your yoga shirt. There are also plenty of woolen blankets in the room.
Yoga is usually practiced barefoot, without shoes or socks. For gentler practices such as yin yoga or sound relaxation, you are welcome to bring thick, cozy socks.
For the gentle mindfulness hike, we recommend closed-toe or slip-resistant shoes.

Monday - Dahn circular hiking trail
The trail leads past the cemetery of honor to St. Michael's Chapel. Behind Altdahn Castle, a path leads across the Wiesental valley up to the Römerfelsen rock. Over the Lachberg you head towards Jungfernsprung (the 70 m high landmark of the town of Dahn) and then back to the hotel. Approx. 12km, 3-4 hours walking time.
Tuesday - Neudahn Castle
We walk towards Kauert and after a short time reach the ruins of Neudahn Castle. The path leads down through the rock gate into the Moosbach valley. We return to the hotel along the nature reserve. Approx. 12km, 3-4 hours walking time.
Wednesday - Dahner Felsenpfad
Directly at the hotel, the trail leads up to the Wachtfels with the first view over Dahn. We enjoy further beautiful viewpoints via the Pfaffenfels and Schwalbenfelsen rocks. From there, we hike along narrow paths into the unique rock arena. We return to the hotel via Kauert and Steinhohlweg. Approx. 12km, 3-4 hours walking time.
Thursday - Hahnfels tour
From the spa gardens, we head towards Altdahn Castle to reach the start of the Hahnfels tour. We cross the beautiful village of Erfweiler and climb up to the Hahnfels with its wonderful views, then on to the Dorfblick. Narrow paths take us past rocks; finally the path leads us over the Kahlenberg to Wasgaublick. Now we cross the valley back towards the hotel. Approx. 14km, 4-5 hours walking time.
Friday - Altdahn Castle
We walk from the spa gardens to the Hochstein viewpoint. The path leads along the rocks towards the Altdahn-Grafendahn-Tanstein castle massif. Here we continue to the beautiful castle view before returning to the hotel via the south side of the Hochstein massif. Approx. 7km, 2-3 hours walking time.

Some of the hikes lead over roots, sandstone, steps, narrow paths and, depending on the tour, can be high in altitude; hiking poles can provide support if necessary. We recommend closed/tread-proof footwear.
